The North American Society for Bat Research invites bids for hosting an annual meeting of the society. Please refer to the Local Host Guide on this website for a map of eligible states and provinces as well as information on bid preparation. Intention to bid should be communicated to one of the Program Chairs (Gary Kwiecinski via ggk301 at Scranton dot edu or Frank Bonaccorso via bonafrank at yahoo dot com). Program chairs will provide detailed advice on preparation of a written bid that must be submitted to the Board at least two month prior to the symposium, three years in advance of the proposed meeting date. Support for locating suitable venues and obtaining bids is available - contact Shahroukh Mistry (mistrysh at butte dot edu). The NASBR Board of Directors will evaluate bids and successful bids meeting the basic criteria of the society will be placed before the members of the society at the next NASBR business meeting for a vote of member preference.
