Soapstone carving workshop - Wednesday October 11th 2-4:30pm

We’re excited to offer NASBR attendees a chance to foster their artistic side. Come learn the basics of soapstone carving with Fredrick Lyle Spence of Spence Custom Carving. Fred is an Indigenous artist from Peguis First Nation who does wonderful carvings and is a wonderful teacher (as the LHs know from experience). The workshop price includes all materials and you get to take your piece home! Fred is already working on some bat carvings and will be onsite during the conference with some pieces for sale or pre-order.
